Simon Ewart is no stranger to the winery scene with degrees in Applied Science, Engineering, and Commerce. Simon grew up near the Barossa Valley and began his career at Mountadam, working for David and Adam Wynn. Following his studies, Simon completed a number of vintages, including with David Lowe at Lowe Wines in Mudgee and with Robin Day at Domain Day. After then working in management in the mining industry, Simon felt the urge to return to Adelaide and established SKEW wines with his father, Andrew. Simon also has involvement in AMSAT Oak which provides a range of quality oak products to the wine industry.
Kylie Ewart, with a background in law has happily assumed the role of breadwinner. However she was clever enough to use her skills to secure a role as taster, and is on hand to help the boys with her tasting notes whenever the opportunity arrives.
